FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City - BGen Simplitius G Adecer PN(M), the Senior Military Assistant to the Secretary of National Defense, was feted with arrival honors at the Headquarters of the Philippine Marine Corps on August 14, 2023.

Prior to this position, BGen Adecer was the Deputy Commander of the Naval Reserve Command and the Commander of the Naval Task Force 12, Naval Forces Northern Luzon. A proud member of the Philippine Military Academy “Bantay-Laya” Class of 1994, BGen Adecer has roots in Cagayan de Oro City. He is happily married to Monalisa Adecer and blessed with sons, Roi Gerard and Rex Francis.
